Music that makes a difference.
The song “Do It Like A Local” was written and performed by local artist David Steward for Moab Area Travel Council’s “Do It Like A Local” campaign, a campaign designed to support sustainable tourism in the public lands surrounding Moab.
For the music video, we filmed David and his bandmates in several iconic Moab landscapes, adding emotion and inspiration to the song’s fun lyrics to visually capture the subject of the song. Joining David on camera are local artists Eric Jones on mandolin and Glenn Sherrill on bass.
David, Eric and Glenn perform regularly and venues in and around Moab.
Filmed on Location in Moab, Utah.
This film features the historic first-ever mandolin solo played on the Slickrock Bike Trail while wearing cowboy boots riding a unicycle.
