Hiking in Moab

using beauty to inspire responsible tourism

Conservation Inspired by Beauty.

Hiking is the most popular outdoor adventure sport in Moab and its surrounding national parks and public lands. But many front country areas are losing the very beauty that has drawn millions to hike – worn down from so much visitation.

The biggest problem is visitors simply don’t know how fragile the desert landscape really is. A lot of the most damaging behaviors are easy to correct – stay on trail, pick up your trash, don’t carve your name into a rock.

For this video we set out to show how beautiful and special hiking in Moab really is, and then simply explain the simple etiquette to leave the landscape as beautiful as you found it for the next visitor after you.

From Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, to Dead Horse Point and Sand Flats Recreation Area, here’s everything you’ll want to know about hiking trails in this rugged and beautiful landscape.
